Gordon Mihan is a Fredericton-based screenwriter and film director. In 2017 his short film Coached was nominated for Best Screenwriting and Best New Brunswick Short at the Silver Wave Film Festival. He has been an avid participant of the Fredericton 48 Hour Film Competition for the past 8 years.

Paul De Decker

Paul De Decker has over 20 years of experience in studying and teaching about dialects. He is Associate Professor in the Linguistics Department at Memorial University of Newfoundland. As a Fogo Island Research Fellow, Paul spent 1 month on the island capturing footage of the beautiful scenery and colourful accents of local Fogo Islanders for short documentary on Fogo's dialect. Paul has worked with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police as a forensic phonetician.

Tim Rayne joined the NB Film Co-op in 1998 and has worked on independent and commercial film productions and learned theoretical film concepts in graduate classes in film studies at Carleton University.

Tim directs and writes his own films including Song Bird (NB Joy Award) Hopewell (Short Venture Grant), Natural Remedy with co-director and co-writer Tony Merzetti, and Soup Du Jour.

Britany Sparrow

Britany Sparrow is originally from Vernon, British Columbia, and has been making films in New Brunswick since 2006. After graduating from UNB with a BA in English (Creative Writing) and a certificate in Film and Video Production, Britany joined the New Brunswick Filmmakers' Co-operative, and she directed her first short film, The Perfect Cliche, in 2007.

First as a volunteer and now as Executive Director of the New Brunswick Filmmakers’ Co-operative, Tony has devoted over twenty-eight years to making the province of NB a center for film creation in Canada.

Tony is known for his patience and dedication in his work with budding and experienced filmmakers alike. He has been instrumental in helping them to achieve their dreams and aspirations, all the while keeping the Co-op on solid financial ground.
