Instructor Michel Guitard along with his partner in film crime Genevieve Gagne recently taught the annual NBFC Kids Film Camp. The Kids came up with another cool film idea and brought their film to life from idea to finished film, July 14-18. They will be submitting their film to the Silver Wave Film Festival Youth Screening Program this year. (Photo by Cat LeBlanc).

Just when you thought Michel Guitard could not be busier, he was knee deep with his film sidekick Gen Gagne on yet another Film Camp, this time for Teens. The annual NBFC Teen Film Camp ran July 28-August 1 this year and the finished film was a corker, a SciFi/Horror! The Teens hope to submit their finished project to SWFF this year as well. NBFC'S KIDS/TEEN FILM CAMPS APPRECIATE COMMUNITY SUPPORT
The community is the heart of any successful restaurant, and Isaac’s Way are very proud to be a part of Fredericton’s Downtown Community. With walls showcasing local artists, one of their goals is to raise funds for underprivileged kids via an ongoing silent art auction. These funds provide lessons in film, art, dance, theatre and music and the kids they sponsor are so very grateful. The NBFC thanks Isaac’s Way for their recent support of the 2014 NBFC Youth Film Camps.
Isaac’s Way also enjoys donating food every week to the Wilmot United Church Saturday Evening Drop In Centre, feeding 30-40 hungry individuals, and they are proud to support the Community Action Group on Homelessness.

CAT NEEDS SOME HELP!
Cat is looking for a nice member in the Freddy Beach area to clean up the resource centre downstairs which was cleaned up a bit after the Kids Film Camps but there is more to do. The room needs to be dusted and vacuumed, a computer needs to be hooked up again, sound booth surface needs to be cleaned properly, films need to go back in the library. This would probably take a few hours at the most and, it counts towards a member's volunteer hours. Email Cat at: info@nbfilmcoop.com
