MONCTON FILM DIARY - JOCELINE PACZOSKI
Moncton-based NB Film Co-op/WIFT-AT member, Joceline Paczoski, has been working on several interesting projects these past few months.
Joceline recently had the opportunity to be part of the IndieCan 10k Feature Film "Owl River Runners" directed by Danny Thebeau. Joceline wore a few hats on the project including Script Supervisor, 1st AD, and Actress where she plays Esther, Owl River's Postmistress. "It was a tremendous experience and I can't wait to see the finished product!"
Joceline also worked on the touching short film "Misfortune" written and directed by Pierre Cormier. In it she plays Charon, a hard-working and caring wife and mother whose family helps out a neighbour. "Misfortune" is expected to hit the festival circuit in 2015.
In addition, Joceline lent her voice to an animation project which will hopefully be included in the Silver Wave Film Festival this November, and she started the blog "Process Your Life" that includes practical advice and steps to enrich life.

Currently, Joceline is showcasing her comedic chops as 'The Boss' in the comedy series "Fireproof" as part of CBC's Comedy Coup accelerator program to develop and produce original show concepts. Working with a talented cast and crew based out of Saint John NB that includes Writers Greg Wright, John Standring, and John Case; Director Julius Marco, and NBFC member Producer Elaine Shannon; the group created a hilarious 90 second teaser pitch video for the series. Over the next 10-weeks the "Fireproof" team will be working all-out to create fresh content, engage fan support and ultimately get the green light to produce the show for CBC Prime Time by Fall 2015.
Viewing the pitch and voting begins on October 2nd.
Thanks for helping NBFC members to create a TV series in New Brunswick!
"It's been an exciting time and I believe that the future is bright for the film and television industry right here in New Brunswick. Keep following your dreams and be inspired!†- Joceline Paczoski
