**No Practical Magic Workshop this Sunday with Tim Tracey!**
ALEX VIETINGHOFF
The NB Film Co-op is proud to support members like Alex Vietinghoff and Shauna Chase who not only volunteer on member no-budget shoots but give back and hire Co-op members and pay the Co-op equipment rental fees when they have funding to do outside projects. Recently, Alex and Shauna produced a short heritage moment for Kings County Museum as part of their Canada 150 celebrations. Check out their handiwork with their Film Co-op member crew!

BARD IN THE BARRACKS PRESENTS: THE COMEDY OF ERRORS
Bard in the Barracks Presents The Comedy of Errors in Barracks Square and Richard III in Odell Park June 22-July 9
Bard in the Barracks is celebrating Canada 150 with a specially expanded season <image002.jpg>featuring productions of two of the Bard’s best-loved plays, running in two different locations in downtown Fredericton from June 22nd through July 9th.
This year’s performances will kick off with The Comedy of Errors in Barracks Square, Shakespeare’s comedy about the chaos that ensues when two pairs of long-separated identical twins unknowingly find themselves in the same city, causing cases of mistaken identity to spiral out of control. For the production, Barracks Square will be transformed into the Swinging Seventies city of Ephesus, Italy, a fantastical seaside resort filled with bustling merchants, devout nuns, shady exorcists, dimwitted constables, and a blustering, egocentric Duke.
The Comedy of Errors will run alongside Richard III in Odell Park, Shakespeare’s story of the infamous late medieval English king who rose to the throne by brutally eliminating all who stood in his way. Featuring dark deeds, thrilling swordplay, and ghostly visitations in a Game of Thrones-like setting, Richard III will be staged in Bard in the Barracks’ trademark promenade style, which sees the audience immersed in the action and following scenes between different locations in the park.
The Comedy of Errors in Barracks Square and Richard III in Odell Park will be performed from June 22 through July 9, with performances of The Comedy of Errors set for June 22-24 and June 27-29 at 7:30 PM and June 25 and July 2 at 2 PM. Richard III will be performed June 25, June 30, and July 2-July 9 at 7:30 PM nightly. There are no shows on June 26 and July 1. Single tickets range from $10-$18 with discounts for June 22 and 25 preview performances and for groups. Two-show passes, offering the patron’s second show at half price, are also available, for $15-$27.
For full show and ticket details, as well as to purchase advance tickets, visit www.bardinthebarracks.com or www.facebook.com/BardInTheBarracks/. For further information, call 506 458-7406, or email nbacts@unb.ca.
CRTC DECISION IS CRIPPLING FOR CREATIVES IN CANADA
Check out the recent backwards CRTC decision and sign this petition to get our industry to help reverse it.
"A cultural coalition including the DGC, ACTRA, the CMPA and WGC is mounting an OFFICIAL HOUSE OF COMMONS PETITION calling on the Minister of Heritage to review the recent disastrous CRTC decision eliminating MORE THAN $200 MILLION+++ in broadcaster obligations for original Canadian Content (known in the CRTC's world as Programming of National Interest) over the next 5 years. That’s more than a dozen Canadian narrative television shows a year that simply won’t exist. That’s the erosion of our Canadian voice and culture."
