Best of luck to NB Film Co-op member and award winner Tracey Lavigne (Jane LeBlanc Filmmaker Award) as she goes into her final weekend of shooting on her short film Glitter.

Synopsis: A coming of age story about gender and sexual identity.
Tara isn't ready for her senior prom -- until she faces the truth and finds the strength to be herself.
Tracey Lavigne is a production designer with several short film credits. She won the Excellence in Art Direction award at the 2015 Silver Wave Film Festival for her work on Lisa Jodoin's In Search of Laura Fearne, and was nominated in 2014 for Tracing Blood. She is a serial DIYer with many creative interests, including playing with power tools, hobby farming, music, and filmmaking.
Tracey was a recipient of the Jane LeBlanc Filmmaker award in 2016.

NBFC KIDS AND TEEN FILM CAMPS
The NB Film Co-op is finishing up it's Kids and Teen Film Camps for the summer and we want to thank the kids and teen who are always great, co-op staff Matt Carr for his work teaching the camps.
Special thank you goes to Milda's Pizza and More for the special discount they give us on the pizza's for the kiddies and a very special thank you to Isaac's Way Restaurant and the Isaac The Puma Miller Legacy Fund for their annual support of our camps.

Rendezvous With Madness Film Festival, the original cultural event focusing on the intersection of movies, pop culture and mental health, is taking its unique brand of screenings and discussions on the road on the occasion of its 25th anniversary. Including several Canadian cities stretching from Vancouver to Fredericton, Rendezvous On The Road provides people across Canada with an
opportunity to share and discuss experience with mental health, addiction and recovery in the context of some of the most illuminating and provocative documentaries, features, animated and experimental mental health movies from around the world. Join the national conversation! The producer of Ken Foster will be attending the opening reception and there will be discussion opportunity following each film with partners from the community including Liberty Lane Inc. and the Fredericton Emotional Recovery Group.
Members of Workman Arts Toronto and the producers of the film Ken Foster will be travelling with the Festival and will be available for questions on opening night.
Rendezvous with Madness Film Tour
This touring program is presented with Toronto’s Rendezvous with Madness Film Festival with support from the Canada Council for the Arts. The first of its kind in the world, Rendezvous is Canada's festival devoted to movies about mental health and recovery. In their 25th anniversary year they continue to venture into new frontiers of public awareness toward the mysteries of the human mind - offering audiences an opportunity to watch films inspired by recovery and to engage in dialogue with filmmakers, professionals and people with lived experience.
