Congratulations to NB Film Co-op member and UNB graduate Ty Giffin whose short film, Sister's Dirge made its international premiere at the Red Nation Film Festival in California. It was important to Ty that people outside of Canada see this film, especially with what's happening in Wet’suwet’en, with Colonialism being very much alive and kicking still in today's world. Ty's film won for Best Student Short at the 2018 Silver Wave Film Festival.
Ty is currently working for Frictive Pictures/Film Co-op members Robert Gray, Matt Rogers and Jon Dewar.
