REBEL FEMME PRODUCTIONS PRESENTS
Calling all Horror film lovers: this event is for you!
Never been to a cold reads before? Wondering what's up?
Writers submit their scripts in advance and actors show up to read it live! That's it. Casting begins at 6:30. If you want to read be sure to show up before then and let us know you want to read.
This month we are reading:
Greg Everett: Written in Marble, Buried in Earth: The Spirit of a Place
Alex Brewer: Witch Hunt
Actors, this is a great opportunity to practice your cold reading skills (otherwise known as developing character on the fly because you've literally just been handed the script).
Audiences you just get to show up as your lovely selves and ENJOY.
Cover is 5 dollars (why you ask, great question; printing costs are EXPENSIVE).

SAINT JOHN MEMBER LOOKING FOR A SILVER WAVE HOST
Hello! My name is Lisa Thompson. I am a raw poetry/dirty realism writer/aspiring filmmaker.
I am a Saint John base Film Co-op member and also a member of the WLF.N.B./SPOKEN WORD COLLECTIVE at UNB/Saint John 107.3 F.M. Radio
I am seeking a kind host for the 4 days of the Silver Wave Film Festival. (November 7-10)
I would greatly appreciate a host that doesn't smoke and who has no pets as I have allergies and asthma. I am highly allergic to aerosol air fresheners, musk and hazel nuts.
I'm sorry I sound so high maintenence. I have a wicked sense of humour and I'm a fun person to be around, honest!
If there is anyone coming for the duration of the festival who is driving from SJ and then going back, would so appreciate a drive and will help with gas.
You can contact Cat if you are able to help me.
Lisa Thompson

Who are we? We are Greg Hemmings of Hemmings House Pictures and Dave Veale of Vision Coaching. You may be familiar with our podcast The Boiling Point Podcast. We’ve had great success over the years being publicly recognized by Dragon's Den and Workopolis as a 'must listen to podcast'. We've learned so much from our guests, running the podcast and our businesses that we've decided to build just some of the lessons we've learned into a training offering. We want to provide practical steps to small business owners, start-up entrepreneurs and solopreneurs who have an excellent product/service but are struggling to be heard in this noisy world. Enter The Boiling Point Process.

The Boiling Point Process will focus on sharing what we've learned from our challenges early in both our careers and in building The Boiling Point Podcast. Our main goal is for attendees to walk away, being able to follow our 4-Step Boiling Point Process to achieve real, measurable results in their businesses.
A special rate of $99 per ticket has been made possible by support from some fantastic local sponsorships. Thank you so much to those businesses for their support! This cost also includes an amazing lunch from Tide and Boar.
