Workshop Description: 

(Film Co-op Members are required to take at least one directing course before they direct/produce their own projects through the Film Co-op)

Using a combination of presentation, discussion and practical exercises, the workshop will cover filmmaking from the director/screenwriter's perspective.

The workshop is especially useful for those new filmmakers who are interested in writing, producing and directing their own material.

Instructor's Biography: 
Her two short films “Glitter” and “Mnemosyne” swept the Silver Wave Film Festival in 2017 and 2018, both winning Best Short Film and Viewers’ Choice back to back, and have screened at film festivals across Canada. She was a finalist in the 2019 CBC Pitch Competition at the Women Making Waves Conference for her short film script, “Picture Yourself”. She is producing the upcoming Ryan O’Toole feature film Further Than the Eye Can See, which was selected for the 2019 Telefilm Talent to Watch program
