Workshop Description: 

In this workshop, Caitlin will discuss the various responsibilities of an editor before opening a wider discussion on how an editor can affect the mood and tone of a film. Using clips from various genres, we will demonstrate how an editor uses rhythm, colour and sound to tell a story.

Instructor's Biography: 
Since graduating from the NSCC Screen Arts program in 2014, Caitlin moved to Fredericton, NB. After taking a few years away from film, in 2019, she directed her second short film, Flow, which premiered at the Silverwave Film Festival and is currently producing her third short documentary. She continues to volunteer in the camera and post-production departments of Co-op members productions.
