Workshop Description:

FESTIVAL SPOTLIGHT: MAKE A SILVER WAVE TRAILER!
So, you've joined the NB Film Co-op recently and found out from Cat (she really needs to cut down on her coffee intake) that pretty much all the workshops in Fredericton are done now for the year except for Directing with Britany Sparrow and a tech workshop in October in Moncton. You are going to sign up for Brit's workshop for sure, it's a required one, but what about other training and development opportunities, you are in hyperdrive, and your film tires are squealing!!

The NB Film Co-op has a fun activity for you, and it will take care of some of your required tech workshops too which can't hurt!

Even if you are already a member in good standing with a gazillion workshops taken, you may still be keen to sign up for this one-day hands-on making of a short trailer too, just for the experience and to meet and create with other liked mind film peeps.

Hey if these directors can do it: Polley, Acreman, Coppola, Adair, Granik, Jodoin, Campion, Lavigne, Peirce, Sparrow, Mehta, Martinez, Armstrong, Milani, WHY CAN'T YOU!

• In this adrenaline filled day, you will make a short film trailer for the Silver Wave Film Festival (SWFF) with tech guru Matt Carr to shepherd you, for quality assurance, to the finish line kicking and screaming.

WHAT DO YOU GET?

• Your finished SWFF trailer will premiere on the big screen before many of the significant screenings at SWFF

• Workshop Attendees will receive two full passes to SWFF
