Instructor’s Biography:

David Somerville has been writing songs and recording audio since he completed his training on analog mixing consoles in the 1980s. He is always looking for ways to make the recording, mixing and mastering audio process simpler, while still getting great sounding results.

He was one part of the duo “Somerville,” (somerville.bandcamp.com) who played a number of venues in NB. As well, David created the government funded “SongShop for Kids” program (songshopforkids.bandcamp.com) that helped kids explore their creativity, overcome blocks of expression and have some great fun doing it! David was a Fredericton resident for many years, and currently lives in Dartmouth, NS. David creates, records and mixes audio in his home project studio for business clients, placement in media, and his own joy of making music.
