Biography: A screenwriter/producer based in Saint John, New Brunswick, Steven Suntres draws from his 15 years of experience as a freelance writer, his MA in Creative Writing, and his PhD candidacy in Digital Cultures. He writes from his unique perspective as a second-generation Greek-Orthodox Canadian living with ADHD, and he is an experienced development producer and writer on projects in various formats, including comedy, documentary, and animation.
Steven is most notably the Co-Creator/Writer/Producer of Louisbourg, a comedy series currently in development with funding from both governments of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Also worth noting, Steven is a Writer and Associate Producer for O’Don’s, a workplace comedy series set in Miramichi, New Brunswick which aired on Bell Fibe TV1 in January 2024.
In 2024, Steven started his own production company, Paratactic Pictures, and he is currently developing his inaugural slate of comedy projects.
