ONLINE WORKSHOP
Workshop Description:
Pre-pandemic, the film & TV distribution landscape was already undergoing a seismic shift, with streaming and digital platforms overtaking traditional broadcast and theatrical outlets as the go to means for content consumption. Now, after nearly two years of disruption, digital platforms are more important than ever. Meanwhile, for independent content creators, the path to having their work released to reach broad audiences has never been less certain. This session, presented by NB-based digital distribution expert Sandy Hunter, will offer insights and clarity into the how existing business models such as broadcast and theatrical are evolving and, into the inner workings of the new Wild West of in-home, on-demand platforms operating across SVOD (Subscription Video On Demand), TVOD (Transactional Video On Demand) and AVOD (Advertising-based Video on Demand).
